This class, taught by Judith Baxter, is aimed at people who are new to knitting and those with only a little experience who want to learn more.

We will cover:
Casting on and casting off, knit and purl stitches, tension, using knit and purl stitches to create pattern, 2 methods each of increasing and decreasing, ribbing, learning to read a pattern, different plies of yarn and their uses, different types of yarn and their uses, Identifying what you have done e.g. rows, where you have increased etc., identifying what you have done wrong e.g. dropped stitches, inadvertent increases etc. and correcting them, picking up stitches for neck bands, creating holes for buttons.
You will have a choice of creating a swatch journal for your future reference, a dishcloth or fingerless mittens.
