Beginners Knitting

This 4 week course is perfect for brand new knitters, or those who learned previously but feel they want to refresh the basic skills. After this class students will have all the skills necessary to begin and finish projects independently. 

Students will learn how to cast on, knit and purl, create basic textured patterns, troubleshoot and fix common mistakes, bind off and weave in ends. 

The class runs for 4 weeks, 2 hour sessions each week and the cost includes two balls of yarn and a pair of bamboo knitting needles.

Our teacher, Amy Wilson, has been knitting for the majority of her life and teaching adults and children for the last 6 years. She is very passionate about the life lessons that can be learned from this craft and the enrichment it brings to one’s life.
