1. General Information
1.1 These Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) govern enrolment in and attendance at
classes hosted by Woolarium, located at High Street, Northcote.
1.2 Classes are open to participants aged 12+.
1.3 The skill level required for each class is specified in the enrolment information.
Participants are strongly encouraged to meet the minimum skill level requirements, as group classes do not provide additional coaching to upskill individuals.
2. Enrolment and Payment
2.1 Enrolment must be completed via pre-registration. Walk-in participation is not permitted.
2.2 Full payment is required at the time of enrolment to secure a place in the class.
2.3 Upon successful payment, participants will receive an enrolment confirmation via email.
2.4 Woolarium reserves the right to adjust class fees for future sessions. However, once a participant has enrolled and paid for a class, the fee for that session will not be increased.
3. Refund and Cancellation Policy
3.1 No refunds are provided for missed classes.
3.2 In the event of class cancellation by Woolarium, participants may choose to receive a refund, reschedule for a future class, or receive a credit note.
3.3 Participants unable to attend their scheduled class are encouraged to contact Woolarium to discuss their circumstances.
4. Make-Up Classes
4.1 If a participant is unable to attend their scheduled class, they may be offered a make-up class for the same session, subject to space availability.
4.2 Make-up classes are not guaranteed. The same class may not be scheduled again, or it may take several months before it is available.
4.3 Participants have the option to arrange a private make-up class at an additional cost. Private classes are subject to the availability of the teacher and must be scheduled directly with the teacher.
5. Materials
5.1 Participants are responsible for ensuring they have the required materials for their class. A materials list will be provided during enrolment, unless otherwise specified. Some classes may include materials, which will be clearly stated in the enrolment information.
5.2 For larger projects, participants are encouraged to purchase supplies prior to the class. For smaller projects and notions, the Woolarium shop will open 15 minutes before the class start time.
6. Class Conduct
6.1 All participants must demonstrate respectful behaviour toward staff and other attendees, including moderating conversations to maintain a conducive learning environment.
6.2 Group classes are designed to provide both group-style teaching and limited 1:1
instruction.
7. Liability
7.1 Woolarium will not be held liable for any injuries or damages that occur during the class. Participants accept responsibility for their personal safety and belongings.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 All patterns and instructional materials provided during the class are subject to copyright. Participants must refer to the copyright statement provided with the patterns.
9. Media Release
9.1 Woolarium may occasionally take photographs or videos during classes for marketing purposes.
9.2 Participants can opt in or out of media use consent during enrolment.
10. Accessibility
10.1 Classes are wheelchair accessible and aim to accommodate other accessibility needs. Participants are encouraged to notify Woolarium of specific requirements during enrolment.
11. Governing Law
11.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, including compliance with Australian Consumer Law.
