Sock Knitting Class

Learn to knit socks with us! Ever wondered how to turn a heel and/or knit with a long circular needle using the magic loop method? This class will get you underway knitting some DK weight (8ply) socks.

Class participants must know how to knit and purl. It is helpful to have bit of experience knitting in the round as well.

We will cover: turning a heel, decreasing for the toe and grafting stitches.

Cost: $319.90 (DK weight sock yarn included) 

Participants will need circular needles (fixed or interchangeable) in 3.25mm with a cord length of 80cm or 100cm for the class.

Our teacher, Amy Wilson has been knitting for the majority of her life and teaching adults and children for the last 6 years. She is very passionate about the life lessons that can be learned from this craft and the enrichment it brings to one’s life.
